The fit out of the Grade II* listed Tudor manor house at the heart of Audley Villages’ latest development, Stanbridge Earls in Hampshire, begins this week. The Bernard Interiors team on site includes operations director Helen Fahy and senior designer Giedre Kazlauskaite.
“The manor house has a timber framework and extensive original panelling,” said Giedre, lead designer for the project. “Opening up the rooms to make larger spaces was not an option so one of the major challenges was creating a flow through the many pockets of space.
“For a historic property, the design can be both respectful and innovative. I’m very excited to be part of the fit out team, I can’t wait for the design to come to life and see the beauty and grandeur of the manor house restored.”
