As part of Bernard Interiors’ 10th anniversary year the practice has collaborated with artist and designer Susi Bellamy to create an exclusive design on linen fabric. Items from Susi’s collections including cushions and art prints are stocked by Harvey Nichols, and she is a regular exhibitor at Maison et Objet.
The team visited Susi at her stunning country home in Northumberland to discuss design options and to find out more about the manufacturing process.
Featuring rich, exuberant colours Susi’s designs recall the layering and marbling of paint. The designs work in conjunction with each other to create a maximalist explosion of colour, or individually as a statement piece. The high quality digital printing process transferring the designs to fabric takes place in England.
