Around 225,000 people will develop dementia this year – that’s one person every three minutes.
On Saturday (13 October) we took part in the Alzheimer’s Society Tyneside Night Memory Walk to help raise funds to support this charity’s valuable work.
Jen Bernard, managing director of Bernard Interiors commented: “Many of us have seen this disease first hand and how it can affect our loved ones, and we’re very keen to raise awareness and as much cash as we can. I’d like to say well done and thank you to the team, and thank you to everyone who has sponsored us.”
